How to contribute
Partnerships are critical to the fulfilment of Foundation objectives.
Financial:
The Blumhardt Gallery: TheNewDowse is New Zealand’s leading decorative art and design gallery and architects Kebbell Daish have developed stunning modular display tables to complement the Blumhardt collection and refurbished Dowse.
The Foundation continues to seek financial support to complete payment for this one-off leading-edge fit out. Donor names will feature on the display furniture and donors board (see below).
Scholarships: One Naming Rights scholarship has been established with Otago Polytech and another is planned when sponsorship has been found.
The Otago Polytech scholarship is providing artists and designers with improved access to further study and the opportunity to exhibit and is the first step to establishing the educational component of the Foundation.
Other ways your contributions will support to our educational objectives include:
- Visiting artists
- Workshops by prominent practitioners
- Lectures for practitioners and art patrons
- School visits by artists
I loved teaching young people and seeing them develop and explore their talents and ability to create wonderful art objects. Teaching and helping other artists was enormously satisfying.
